New Crop Corn – gut slot basis is attractive for the farmer that likes to sell at harvest, consider locking a percentage in. Farmer with on farm storage make sure to consider getting 20-30% forward sold. Locking in profit = better sleep at night! Want extra premium, consider a structured contract with a floor or ceiling.
New Crop Soybeans – Broken record on basis, but gut slot basis is attractive vs the past. Place offer targets for HTA’s or cash sales.
