Corn: unch to +2 ¾

Corn finished steady to slightly higher. Weather continues to look hot and dry the next 10 days although unexpected rains fell in North and South Dakota. Last weeks ethanol production was down 1.2%. The White House has been slow on announcing biofuel blending mandates for 2021 and 2022. Such mandate would cause major concern for corn farmers.

Soybeans: +1 ¼

Soybeans finished slightly higher. Weather caused higher trading this morning, but soy oil turned lower causing soybeans to fall back. Soy Oil was under stress from a slow in demand and some profit taking occurred.
