Daily Commentary
**ALL MID IOWA LOCATIONS WILL BE CLOSING AT 2:30 FRIDAY MAY 28TH**

Corn: +40
The corn market has traded both up and down limit this week with us finishing up 40 cents today!! This came as we got better then expected export numbers this morning in the report, for both old and new crop. Rumors have also been going around that China is still looking for old crop corn. The weather looks to be cooler and wet the remainder of the week. Southern Brazil has been able to catch some rains. The first crop ratings of the year come out on Tuesday afternoon, which will most likely show a great start.
Soybeans: +33 ½
The soybean market was also able to end up strong today following corn after good export sales numbers this morning for both old crop and new crop. New crop sales have been slower, but China is expected to come to the market this winter. Argentina port workers ended their strike yesterday after being granted essential worker status and giving them priority to the COVID-19 vaccine.
