Rebuild Project 10/24

Oct 24, 2020

We can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel! The millwrights are making great progress on both Midway and Green Mountains rebuild projects. Both locations are finally starting to look like normal again!

Midway - Bin 5 is completely jacked and the sweep is installed. They should have Bin 5 tied into the conveyor system by Wednesday the 28th. Bin 2 has been completed and tied into the conveyor system. Bin 2 has started to be filled with corn. Bin 1 has 4 rings left to go before it is completely jacked. The plan is to have the conveyor installed over Bin 1 before the month of October is over.
The bunker walls have been installed for the new outside bunker. They hope to be able to install the catwalk and conveyors from the wet bin conveyor to the outside bunker starting the week of the 26th- weather permitting.

Green Mountain - Bin 8 has been completely jacked and are waiting on the catwalk and conveyor system to show up to finish Bin 8. They hope to be able to start installing the catwalk and conveyor by the end of October. Bins 23 & 24 have had the dents removed and they are taking grain and fully functional.

Gladbrook - They are wrapping up demolition at Gladbrook. The clean up crews should be done at Gladbrook by the first part of November.

Whitten – The demolition and cleanup at Whitten is also almost finished.
